As someone who relies on a mobility scooter to stay independent, I’ve always been drawn to the beauty of mountain towns like Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and the snow-covered landscapes of Colorado. But winter travel brings a unique set of challenges if you use a mobility device. Snow, ice, hills — they can all turn a relaxing trip into a stressful situation if you aren’t prepared.
